I’m Lucy, a Copywriting Creative who comes up with ideas and words for brands, businesses and organisations – of all shapes and sizes.
Since starting out in 2002, I've created radio ads for car mechanics in Congleton, written book blurbs for Medieval murder mysteries, branded a bag company, used my braaaaains to craft copy for a couple of zombie websites, convinced cricket fans to cut down on their match-day drinking, and helped a nappy cream make their mark in the tattoo world.

Know when it’s time to ‘murder your darlings’* and pursue another route.
The details count – CTA buttons are just as important as headlines.
Every channel matters and every idea needs to work brilliantly and cohesively across them.
It’s OK to start a sentence with ‘and’. And also ‘but’.
