HSBC wanted to introduce their customers to Paym – a new mobile payment service that takes the faff out of paying back cash. So we decided to show just how easy it is by literally taking the I.O.Us out of situations where people need to settle up.

The England and Wales Cricket Board wanted to raise awareness of corruption within the county game. We created a firm but fair poster campaign which left players and staff in no doubt about the consequences of match fixing.

Our ‘Football Manager. Always.’ concept saw us win a three-way pitch for the FM 2013 Global Campaign. Tactics and squad in place, we set about applying it across TV, Print, Digital, Radio and Social Media in 12 territories - bringing SEGA and SI a 19% year-on-year increase and a MCV awards nomination for the digital work. When it came time to rebrand crime writer Colin Bateman, we dropped the first name and created a look which better reflected his darkly comedic brand of fiction. I was charged with crafting killer shoutlines to inspire the jacket designs and writing suitably arresting blurbs. The newly released Bateman’s shifted units out the warehouse like hotcakes.

Arsenal were restructuring their membership scheme and wanted their renewal and recruitment comms to make existing and potential members really feel like part of the club. Our campaign used the heart-felt words of famous and non-famous Gooners to show that all fans are part of the Arsenal family.

So here’s the deal: Current TV were making a documentary with Howard Marks about drugs and they asked us to imagine how we’d brand and market a couple of illegal substances (as if they were legal and safe of course). We chose Cannabis and Acid as our poisons for this project, and set about creating some class creative for each.

Our task was to produce some engaging hoarding creative that would draw attention away from construction work being carried out by Network Rail at Borough Market. So we delved into the market’s rich history, gave a voice to the people who work there, highlighted the provenance of the produce and picked some choice locals and regular visitors to wax lyrical about Borough.

Finding the right words to promote films, TV series and comedians was the order of the day for the full and half-page reviews in HMV’s in-store film and comedy DVD brochures.

When the Wembley Stadium Tour added a zip wire trip across the pitch, they asked us to put together a campaign. So we swung into action and produced a thrilling illustration and onomatopoeic twist on their usual call to action ‘Take The Wembley Tour’ and applied it to Underground posters, press and online ads.

I used my braaaaains to work with the digital team to create content for both the worldwide product site for Capcom’s awe-zom new release Dead Rising 2 and a fake tourism site for the game’s setting, Fortune City (sadly both sites have since bitten the dust #404).
